Cumbria’s successful bid for a Local Enterprise Partnership was put forward by a strong partnership of the county’s business representative organisations and seven local authorities, along with other public sector organisations. These partners continue to work closely together to support the LEP and ensure its effectiveness.

Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership provides a strategic lead in all activities contributing to the growth and vibrancy of the county’s economy and where appropriate takes positive action, using the skills, capabilities and networks of the LEP partners.
